North Douglas Elementary consistently focuses on Academics, Attitude, and Attendance for each of the four nine weeks of school. Your child has a chance to be recognized at the A-Wave Assembly during the second and fourth nine weeks of school if he or she has met the criteria for one, two, or all three areas (listed below).  An award and a pencil will be given to these students. 

If he or she has met all three areas (Academics, Attitude, and Attendance), he or she will then be awarded the Triple A-Wave Award.  Triple A-Wave students will have their picture taken, and in addition to getting an award and a pencil, they will also get extra coupons and goodies.  They will also be invited to a special Triple A-Wave reception in the Media Center during the first and third nine weeks of school (dates TBA) where they will again be recognized.

At the end of the year, students that have made the Triple A-Wave for each nine weeks of school, will be entered into a drawing to receive an added prize.  One student will win this end prize.  In a previous year, a student won a bicycle!  Please encourage your child to always try their best!
